Intelligent Thermal Camera

This is an intelligent thermal IP camera build in a rugged aluminium dye cast housing designed for use in harsh environments. Based on Siqura’s own video analytics, it is a fully integrated solution for (industrial) hot-spot detection, fire detection, monitoring flares stacks, coal piles, etc. This camera is fitted with a highly sensitive uncooled micro-bolometer. It detects temperature differences as small as 50 mK. It can spot heat sources invisible to the naked eye, such as burning butane, hot spots in mechanical equipment or smouldering coal piles. The thermal image can be shown in 10 different color pallets. The thermal imager is “plug-and-play” and configuration is made easy by its self-explaining web-interface.

Outdoor Thermal IP Camera for Perimeter Intrusion Detection

This camera is a complete solution for perimeter intrusion detection. It is built around a thermal LWIR sensor and on-board analytics for accurate detection of unwanted intrusions. By using thermal vision, detection is possible in all weather, no-light, and difficult lighting conditions. It comes as an outdoor camera (IP66). The embedded ObjectR-Advanced PID is based on analytics certified by i–LIDS® and approved to be used as primary sensor in a sterile zone. Through the web interface, configuration of the ObjectR-Advanced PID analytics is straightforward with either two detection lines or two detection zones. To get the most out of the PID analytics Siqura offers the VCA Configuration Server. By using a thermal sensor the influence of external factors is limited to a minimum.

Thermal imaging

The thermal LWIR sensor and onboard analytics for accurate detection of unwanted intrusions make detection possible in all weather, no-light and difficult lighting conditions. Distractions, such as headlights of a car or search lights, can cause false alerts when CCTV cameras are used for detection analytics. Thermal detection with ObjectR-Advanced PID requires less experience and knowledge of detection analytics in difficult sceneries.

VCA Configuration Server (VCS)

ObjectR-Advanced PID detection analytics runs physically in the edge devices. The detection engine is more powerful when configured by the Siqura VCA Configuration Server. The configuration server adds detection templates, such as eight zones or lines. The VCS is capable of storing up to 64 channels of video and object data. Forensic searches can be performed by using the stored object data gaining search speeds up to 10,000 times faster than real-time. This feature can also be used optimize the configuration for a camera by using stored footage of the intended location.

Rugged Dual PTZ with IP and Thermal Camera

TunnelCam Ultimo

The TunnelCam Ultimo is designed especially with the harsh environment of traffic tunnel applications in mind. However it can be used on the roadside as well of course, as a rugged fixed camera. It delivers high-quality, high-definition images. The remote zoom and focus lens guarantees the easiest installation and remote adjustment. Because of the included versatile mounting bracket, you will be able to position the camera in the exact horizontal and vertical angle needed for optimum view. The housing ships a nano glass window, thus avoiding the need for a fragile wiper.

Multi codec high definition

The TunnelCam Ultimo cameras have multiple stream capability for simultaneous streaming of one or more H.264, combined with MJPEG. In addition to this it has the option of streaming in different aspect ratios without scaling or transcoding. This way the interoperability with existing Traffic Center systems can be guaranteed without adding latency caused by transcoding. Multiple combinations of resolution and frame rate can be configured to satisfy different live viewing and recording scenarios. A separate model will become available that supports MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 as well.

Open standards

Because of the careful assembly and compliance to the open standards, the TunnelCam Ultimo will integrate in the most common Video Management Software right out of the box. Compliance to ONVIF Profile S ensures that the camera will be supported even if your software does not have a dedicated driver. On top of this, the HTTP API ensures ease of programming in case a dedicated software solution is required. This specifically enables the deployment in projects with custom requirements.

Backlight compensation and wide dynamic range

The TunnelCam Ultimo is designed to produce color pictures of the tunnel with adjustable white balance and hue, to adjust for the various lighting circumstances in the tunnel. Backlight compensation and great wide dynamic range functions enhance image visibility in difficult lighting situations. This ensures quality pictures even if vehicle headlights are seen in the picture.

Thermal and Hybrid models

Not only does the TunnelCam Ultimo allow you to install an optical camera; models are available that add thermal vision by means of high end thermal imager. You can choose from models featuring optical, thermal, or both.

Connectivity

Models are available to connect the camera to RJ45, or direct to fiber, or even directly on existing coax.
