The fans consist of a motor and impeller fixed to a square fan casing (or wall-plate) by support arms and screws. Motor and impeller may be removed easily while leaving the wall-plate in place. Impeller, motor casing and wall plate have a scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant epoxy coating.

Dust accumulation is prevented by the smooth design of the motor casing. The motor has an integral electrical supply cable and has an insulation class B winding and is protected to IP44 standard.
